Hope Springs Clinic was conceived in the spring of 2019 by a group of people who knew that our community could do better in supporting the mental health of the Upper Cumberland community. After several meetings and a community wide gap analysis we discovered that what was needed most was someway to fill in the gaps of care. What can someone do if they run out of medication and have no one to refill? What about those who come from other areas and are looking for a mental health provider, but are having trouble finding one? Or the person who needs help now, but their outpatient appointment is 3 to 6 months away. There was no care in these situations, so we decided to try to stand in that gap. We have learned alot and refined our process since then, but we continue to learn and grow, just like the community we serve.

So.....What is Urgent Care Mental Health

Why does one go to an Urgent Care Clinic for Medical? Well, Usually because an issue has become to big for over-the-counter or home remedies but it is not to the point of going to the hospital. It's the same with us. We can be that starting point when someone's mental wellbeing has decreased to the point that they need a little assistance. In these cases we can get treatment started and guide them through the often fragmented mental health system by offering resources, referrals, and options.
